RTL+, Germany’s largest cross-media streaming platform, offers not only a vast VOD catalog – from countless entertainment shows to blockbuster films – but also live events such as the 1st & 2nd Bundesliga, as well as podcasts, music, and online magazines.
The multipurpose app is available on smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs, reaching nearly 6 million subscribers, making it Germany’s most successful streaming platform.
Measures
As Senior Product Designer and Smart TV Lead, I am responsible for the continuous development of the RTL+ app. This includes conceptualizing and implementing new features as well as building sustainable components based on user testing and research.
Additionally, I manage and maintain the TV library and its design system, working closely with development teams for web, Android, and Magenta TV. I also create and test prototypes for internal and external usability testing.
